Halloween is almost here! Trick or Treating gluten-free is NOT at all like finding a needle in a haystack. There are PLENTY of gluten-free goodies for treaters, most of which are by well-known brands and can be found right at Price Chopper. There is no need to deny the sweet tooth on Halloween! Just a few reminders from the dietitian here: Eat within reason and along with plenty of water. Brush your teeth soon after eating your treats. Adults: be sure your gluten-free children are informed as to what they can have safely. And treat…don’t cheat. Even a taste for those who must be gluten-free to be healthy can be a problem.
