AdvantEdge Rewards - FAQs
AdvantEdge Rewards is our promotion that allows you to earn points when you shop. Points can be redeemed for savings on a future order at any Price Chopper or Market 32 location or for gas savings at participating Sunoco stations, or for more exclusive options online at rewards.pricechopper.com.
You can earn points at all Price Chopper, Market 32, or Market Bistro locations, or by shopping online at pricechopper.com.
You earn 1 point for every dollar spent with your AdvantEdge Card every time you purchase qualifying items at any Price Chopper, Market 32, or by shopping online at pricechopper.com. Points are earned in whole dollar increments.
AdvantEdge Rewards points can be redeemed at all Price Chopper and Market 32 locations for savings on a total order or at Sunoco stations for savings on gas. Redemptions are not valid on Instacart delivery or pickup orders.
100 points = $1.00 off groceries at any Price Chopper or Market 32 location, or 5¢ off per gallon of gas at participating Sunoco stations (up to 20 gallons). Rewards points also have more exclusive options found online at rewards.pricechopper.com.
AdvantEdge Rewards point balances are printed on your receipt, found in your profile on the Price Chopper mobile app or at pricechopper.com, as well as shown in your account at rewards.pricechopper.com.
Fuel savings earned through the Fuel AdvantEdge promotion will remain on your Card until they are redeemed or expire. For example, Fuel AdvantEdge discounts earned in January would expire at the end of March. Your remaining Fuel AdvantEdge discounts can be combined with your AdvantEdge Rewards points, which you can redeem at participating Sunoco stations.
Offer excludes purchases of Price Chopper and Market 32 gift cards, alcohol, tobacco, money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets, postage stamps, entertainment tickets, bottle deposits, copy/fax services, taxes, and other items prohibited by law.
Offer excludes redemptions on the purchase of Price Chopper, Market 32, Market Bistro gift cards, third party gift cards, prepaid phone cards, general purpose reloadable cards, alcohol, tobacco, money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets, postage stamps, entertainment tickets, bottle deposits, copy/fax services, taxes, pharmacy, and other items prohibited by law. Redemptions are not valid on Instacart delivery or pickup orders.
Points are valid until the end of the month that is two months after the date on which they are earned. For example, AdvantEdge Rewards points earned anytime in January would expire at the end of March of the same year. Check your receipt for an expiration message during the month in which points are set to expire.
Yes. Your physical or digital Card is your passport to savings with AdvantEdge Rewards.

No. All valid AdvantEdge Cards (physical and digital) will earn AdvantEdge Rewards points at Price Chopper and Market 32 locations. A functioning wallet-size physical Card will be needed to redeem AdvantEdge Rewards points for gas savings at Sunoco stations.
Go to Sunoco and follow these easy steps:
Paying with cash: Bring your AdvantEdge Card inside to the station attendant before filling up, and the attendant will scan your Card.
Paying with credit/debit:
- At the pump, press “Yes” when asked if you have an AdvantEdge Card.
- Wait for the prompts to instruct you to insert your wallet-size AdvantEdge Card to reduce the price.
- Wait for the prompts to instruct you to insert your credit or debit card to pay.
- Your savings will be displayed and the price will automatically drop.
If your points balance is worth more than the per-gallon price, your remaining points will be saved for a future visit. Due to system limitations, most stations will need to charge at least 1.9¢/gallon even if your earned savings are greater than the price per gallon of gas.
Go to Price Chopper or Market 32 and follow these easy steps:
• When your AdvantEdge Card is scanned at the register, depending on your points balance, the
cashier may ask whether or not you want to redeem your Rewards points.*
• If “No”, they are saved on your Card for a future transaction.
• If “Yes”, the cashier will redeem them, thereby reducing the amount you owe on that grocery
bill by the value of the Rewards points.
• Your redeemed points will be displayed on the bottom of the receipt for that transaction.

*Point balances less than 100 points are not eligible for redemption. If your points balance is worth
more than the total of the transaction, your remaining points will be saved for a future visit.

No. You choose how you want to use AdvantEdge Rewards points each time you redeem them.
Yes. You need at least 100 points to redeem at participating Price Chopper and Market 32 locations or at participating Sunoco stations.
No. AdvantEdge Rewards points are loaded to your Card after the completion of the transaction in which they were earned and will be available for redemption on the following transaction.
No. All eligible points are used with each redemption, however you choose to redeem them each time. For example, you may choose to redeem your points for fuel, and upon earning more points, you may then choose to redeem them for food savings.
No. You cannot transfer point balances to another AdvantEdge Card.
Yes. Just ask the attendant for assistance in redeeming your rewards.
You can earn bonus AdvantEdge Rewards points for buying certain products. Look for signs and shelf tags throughout the store for these limited time offers.
Earning
Offer excludes earning points on any Medicare, Medicaid or Private Insurer’s portion of prescriptions; however your paid prescription co-pay is included in the program except in New York or where prohibited by law or government programs.
Redeeming
Offer excludes redeeming points on all pharmacy purchases.
Promotions
Promotional offers, such as point multipliers, exclude all pharmacy purchases.
