We see environmental stewardship as a vital part of our legacy to our children and our responsibility to the world in which we live. Our goal is to create an increasingly sustainable business that minimizes waste and conserves natural resources to reduce our impact on the environment. For us, environmental stewardship is a natural extension of our tradition of corporate innovation and citizenship.
Being a good neighbor is important to us: From our Fresh Recovery program that supplies food banks to the EPA Green Chill and Food Recovery Challenge distinctions we’ve earned to the reusable products and recycling processes in play at our stores and the Resource Recovery Center at our Distribution Complex in Rotterdam NY, we’ll always place a priority on taking care of the planet we all live in.
